Inside Sales Representative

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Associate that thrives helping to build pipeline for a senior sales team.  The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable researching prospects, making dozens of calls per day, and qualifying prospects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and articulate Edge solution value props
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Using a variety of proprietary and generally available tools including Google, Yahoo Finance, RainKing, Linkedin, and GovWin, research accounts, identify key influencers and build lists for marketing to generate interest
  • Maintain and expand our database of prospects within salesforce
  • Report on progress


  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Self-starter with little need for supervision
  • Strong phone presence
  • Working knowledge of or similar CRM
  • Knowledge of HubSpot a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and reporting skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge and/or experience in the IT services industry
